Supporting the Community
At Flooring South West, being part of the local community means more than just providing flooring. It’s about giving back and supporting the people and places around us. Sponsoring local events and organisations is something we’re proud to do, helping to strengthen the connections that make our community so special.
Recently, we donated flooring to Horsley Village Hall, creating a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy. And for the past two Christmases, we’ve fitted flooring free of charge for families who had nothing, transforming their homes in time for the holidays. It’s our way of sharing comfort, warmth, and hope when it’s needed most.
Lions International
We’re proud to support Lions International, one of the world’s largest and most active community service organisations. The Tetbury Lions work tirelessly to support people in need across our local area, from fundraising events to practical help for those going through difficult times. As a local business, we share their commitment to making a positive difference in the community and are delighted to play a small part in supporting the incredible work they do.
The Nelson Trust
The Nelson Trust is a Gloucestershire-based charity that supports people affected by addiction, homelessness, and trauma, helping them to rebuild their lives and find a path forward. We’re proud to support the Nelson Trust and the vital work they do across our region. Their dedication to some of the most vulnerable people in our community is truly inspiring, and we’re honoured to play a part in helping them continue that work.
Tetbury Woolsack Races
The Tetbury Woolsack Races are one of the most beloved and characterful events in the Cotswolds calendar, held every year on the Spring Bank Holiday. Competitors race up and down the famously steep Gumstool Hill carrying heavy woolsacks, celebrating Tetbury’s proud history as a centre of the wool trade. As a Tetbury business with our own deep roots in the British wool industry, it feels only right that we support this fantastic local tradition. We love being part of the event and seeing the whole community come together to enjoy the fun.
Tetbury Goods Shed Art Centre
The Tetbury Goods Shed Art Centre is a unique and much-loved creative hub in the heart of our town, providing a space for local artists, makers, and performers to share their work with the community. We’re proud to support the Goods Shed and the important role it plays in enriching cultural life in Tetbury. Creativity and craftsmanship sit at the heart of what we do at Flooring South West, so supporting a space that celebrates those same values feels like a natural fit.
